Collaboration
How to bring other people into a project, what happens when you both type at once, and how to get back to an earlier state.
A Narratomi project belongs to one owner and can hold any number of other people. Everyone opens the same editor, on the same story, at the same time. There is no "check out this chapter" step and no save button: what you type is in the doc as you type it.
Three things make that workable. Roles decide who may change what. Live sync decides what happens when two people edit the same paragraph. History gives you named points to come back to, plus branches for drafts you are not sure about yet.
Roles and invites
Owner, editor, viewer: what each one can do, and how to invite someone.
Live editing
Presence, cursors, how concurrent edits merge, and where the limits are.
History
Checkpoints, restoring an earlier state, and branches for alternate drafts.
The Members and History tabs both live in the right-hand dock of the editor, next to the other panels. If the dock is collapsed, press Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac) and run "Toggle panels dock".
